The Challenge

H&T Pawnbrokers are well-established within the finance industry. The challenge was diversifying the search terms that their traffic was coming from. To this point, a large portion of their traffic was coming from brand related searches. To grow their site, we needed to start ranking for product and service related searches such as pawnbroking, cash loans and travel money.

The Solution

Working alongside H&T’s chosen SEO agency and internal marketing team, I focused on the re-launch of an architecturally sound, better optimised H&T website. We re-structured the site to allow for better navigation and increased crawlability. We optimised the content and generated an intelligent backlink acquisition program. We also worked on the creation an optimisation of Google My Business profiles for each of H&T’s 250+ nationwide stores.


The Result of Our Work

In just 3 years of working together we were able to increase organic traffic by 177.36%. The HandT website now ranks for 5,945 keywords and in the top 10 for 814.

This resulted in a huge increase in enquiries and foot traffic into their 250+ nationwide stores.
